What is the purpose of Reinventing Religion? We are a small group of people who are not satisfied with any one religion, but are more than people who just pick and choose what we like from each. Instead we are a people who want to present other options to religion - that is that each of us should have our own personal religion which we make up for ourselves using material from where ever we can find it. Those who feel the pain are best able to judge the cure. Let's not just look where religion has been, but let us imagine what a better religion could be and seek to make it so! Come join us like a sail boat on the water seeking the land of glory!

Opinions about God

There are essentially two basic views held about God:

A. God is a being that reveals himself by prophets and other surrogates, and demands to be worshipped/loved.

B. The philosophical/theological view that the nature of God is undetermined. Nature reflects God’s character. The sacred texts are flawed when in contradiction to experience.

We mostly hold to view-B and this website is in that shadow/image. But we understand how the simpler view-A would appeal to those who are not philosophically minded. Whatever works for you is fine with us, as long as what works for us is given equal respect by you.

Other Views we hold:
1. God is not an all-powerful wish granter.
2. God cannot change the Truth, except to make it a better Truth.
3. God is not all powerful unless everything is defined as God.
4. Truth is God’s power. The Truth has got your back.
5. God does not need to be worshipped, nor grants favors to those who try to do so with rituals and prayers. People bless and curse people. Coincidences do happen. Self-delusions are common among those who cannot accept the Truth in the current moment. Karma and the Golden Rules are often mistaken for God.
6. God lives in the collective unity, but such unity requires difference within the parts. Are all things God? Possibly.
7. God is only perfect to God for as long as God thinks God is perfect.
8. You cannot truthfully tell me that there is no Truth.
